Classrooms and hallways throughout the North Merrick School District were once again populated by students, signaling a new year of learning on Sept. 3.

North Merrick students received a sweet start to the school year along with a warm welcome from their teachers during the annual Meet, Greet and a Treat event on Aug. 29.

Harold D. Fayette School sixth graders closed the book on their North Merrick School District careers, as they will soon enter middle school following their moving up ceremony on June 25.

What has become a longstanding annual tradition at Harold D. Fayette School in the North Merrick School District continued once again as each student came to school equipped with a poem on April 17.
