New teachers in the North Merrick School District gathered at Harold D. Fayette School on Aug. 25 to prepare for a successful start to the school year during a new teacher orientation.

The latest round of Reading Ambassadors at Harold D. Fayette School in the North Merrick School District continued the mission to inspire a love of reading within their peers on May 29 as they visited classrooms to lead read-alouds and spread their love and enjoyment of a good story.

A student-led initiative created a patriotic display on the front lawn of the Harold D. Fayette School as the North Merrick Schools community marked Memorial Day with the annual Field of Flags event on May 14.

Curiosity and discovery were on full display as students at Harold D. Fayette School in the North Merrick School District took part in a hands-on science investigation on April 28.

Volunteer students at Harold D. Fayette School in the North Merrick School District recently took on the role of Reading Ambassadors with a mission to inspire a love of reading throughout the building.
